Thanks to our friends at Little Tucker  for sharing this yummy recipe!!  I did make a slight change and decided to try it with fava flour instead of oats 🙂 Let us know what you think 😉 We think they were FaVuLoUs!

Makes 8 muffins
COOK TIME: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
2 cups fava flour
3 bananas
2 tbsp ground flax
5 tbsp water
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
1 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup hemp hearts
Peanut butter to put on top
Jam of your choice 🙂 

Method:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, and grease your muffin tin with some coconut oil.
Mix your ground flax and water together in a small bowl and set aside.
Add the bananas, PB, baking soda, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, fava flour and lastly your flax mixture into your blender. 

By hand, stir through your hemp hearts (if you blend these too, your muffin mixture may turn green!).

Divide the mixture to make approx 8 muffins, and bake for 15 minutes.
Take out your muffins, and using a spoon create a little hole in the top of your muffin and carefully spoon some chia seed jam inside. Bake for another 7-10 minutes.
Once cooked, top the muffins with more PB and jam as you desire!
